Two hours a month in a small group of no more than 6. One hour on a topic that matters in real practice, one hour of structured group supervision, and a community that actually gets it.
From $97 a month. Two groups, 6 seats each.
Nobody tells you how lonely private practice can feel.
And when you carry all of that alone, it doesn't just drain you. It shows up in the room with your clients.
In my 25+ years of practice, and 15 years teaching counsellors at Curtin University, I've seen this pattern time and time again.
Talented, caring clinicians lose confidence not because they lack skill, but because they're doing this work in isolation.
The fix isn't another course. It's regular, honest supervision with people who understand the work.
That's exactly why I created The Confident Clinician Circle.
So that you can:
Each month your group meets for two hours on Zoom. Same people, same time, so trust builds fast.
A focused, practical conversation on one topic every clinician needs, from boundaries and risk to money and marketing. You'll leave with something you can use in your next session.
Bring a case, a question or a stuck point. We work through it together using a clear structure, so everyone gets heard and every case gets a next step.
Groups are capped at 6. Everyone gets real airtime, not a rushed five minutes.
Your supervision hours are signed off for your renewal, so the paperwork is done.
Templates, practice tools and resources you can use straight away.
Join the other group that month if a seat is free. Life happens.
Cases are de-identified and every group agrees on confidentiality from day one.
Ask what you've been too embarrassed to ask anywhere else. That's what it's for.
Choose the time that suits your week. All times are Perth time (AWST).
When a group fills, new members go on the waitlist for the next one.
The topics clinicians tell me they wish someone had taught them properly.
How to bring a case, what to ask, and how to turn feedback into action.
Where self-doubt comes from, and how to stop it running your sessions.
Dual relationships, self-disclosure, and the grey areas nobody warns you about.
Assessing risk, safety planning, and knowing when and how to act.
Documentation that protects your clients and you.
Recognising grief beyond death, and working with it confidently.
How to raise it, respond to it, and stop avoiding it.
First sessions, staying neutral, and not getting caught in the middle.
Setting your fees, holding them, and talking money without guilt.
Referral relationships, visibility and marketing that fits who you are.
Noticing the warning signs in yourself, and building care into your week.
Closing well with clients, and reviewing your own growth.
You walk into a tricky session already knowing who you'll talk it through with.
You stop replaying sessions at 11pm. You make a clinical call and trust it. Your renewal comes around and your hours are already logged.
And slowly, the voice that asks "who am I to be doing this?" gets quieter. Not because you've become someone else. Because you've finally got the support you should have had all along.
I've been a clinician for over 25 years, and I'm a registered ACA Supervisor and Level 4 member.
For 15 years I also taught at Curtin University, so I've watched a lot of brilliant clinicians take their first nervous steps into practice. I know what actually helps, and what's just noise.
This isn't theory. It's what I've seen work in my own counselling room and with the clinicians I've supervised and taught. And it's what the Circle is built on.
1:1 supervision with me is $175 an hour. The Circle gives you two hours with me every month, in a small group, from $97.
All prices in AUD and GST inclusive. Memberships are non-refundable. Monthly memberships can be cancelled anytime with 30 days' notice. Annual memberships are paid upfront.
Every monthly session includes a full hour of structured group supervision with an ACA Supervisor, in a group of no more than 6. That gives you 12 hours of group supervision a year, which covers the 10-hour annual minimum. If you have more than 400 client hours a year, PACFA asks for 15 hours, and Circle Plus gives you 16.
Each month we dig into one practical topic, from boundaries and risk to fees and burnout. It's a conversation, not a lecture, and it often sets up the cases we bring to supervision in hour two. The topic hour is professional development, so check your association's guidelines for logging it as CPD.
Group supervision, once a month. Circle Plus adds a 1:1 session with me every quarter, and any member can book extra 1:1 sessions at $140.
You can join the other group that month if a seat is free. The aim is to stay with your own group as much as possible, because that's where the trust builds.
Not straight away. Plenty of people listen for a session or two first. You'll learn a lot from other people's cases, and when you're ready to bring your own, the group will be there.
Yes. You won't need ACA or PACFA hours, but you'll get solid support with ethics, boundaries, tricky client situations and knowing when to refer.
No. Supervision focuses on your client work and your professional growth. If something personal comes up, I'll help you find the right support.
Absolutely. Sessions are on Zoom and run on Perth time (AWST), so check the time where you are before you choose your group.
Memberships are non-refundable. Monthly memberships can be cancelled anytime with 30 days' notice. Annual memberships are paid upfront for the year.
Supervision and professional development are often deductible for practitioners, but check with your accountant for your situation.
Pick your group, and I'll see you in the Circle.
PS. Each group is capped at 6, so once a time slot fills, it's waitlist only.
